I must admit that all though I some days ago stated that I would never really want and need any other deck than The Thoth, I have recently fallen in love with The Golden Tarot by Kat Black.
I keep working with The Thoth, which I will never abandon. Working with Tarot in general and the Thoth in particular is an life time occupation? and a never ceasing interest and commitment. Recently I realized that I have to study Kaballah and several other subjects to reach an – at best – deeper understanding of The Thoth, and such an endeavour will take like an aeon.
But some times I see and desire other decks like now The Golden, Llewellyn and The Gilded, and for a while I fell the urge to stray a bit off the roads of The Thoth (or would that be paths?). And I will. Because every step on the main road of Tarot will, I think, only broaden my knowledge and love for the Tarot.
But for now, these other decks are definitely on my wishlist.
